Sun Direct TV Private Limited, part of South Indian Media Giant, SUN Network has selected RTPL’s PSIGen Software (PSI-SI Server) for their DTH operations and maintain the scheduled services. The system has 1:1 Redundancy and is also integrated with the Open TV system.

PSIGen facilitates the generation of PAT, CAT and PMT (MPEG-PSI tables) and NIT, SDT, EITpf and EITs actual/other (DVB-SI tables) with standard DVB-ASI/IP output. PSIGen can import program data from many different file formats (SDF, XML, Excel etc). It sends the SI/PSI data to the multiplexer, creating a digital television transport stream compliant with DVB digital television standards.
